Layton Life Update

I am going to give a quick weekly update...

My Grandpa owns a Museum in Down Town Provo called the Crandall Family Printing Museum. There you can learn all about the printing of the Book of Mormon. My grandpa had Pres. Monson come and dedicate one of the rooms and later that night had a dinner for the 1st Annual Printers Hall of Fame where they induted Pres. Monson in to. We were able to attend the dinner. They had Pres. Monson give some remarks at the end. He was so funny and it was great to hear him talk about his life in the printing business. Our table was really close to his so I snapped a few pictures. My camera took terrible pics though. Go here to watch a short video of Pres. Monson at the museum. Then this past Saturday my sisters and best bud Jana threw the most awesome baby shower for us! I didn't get any pictures on my camera, but I did take a picture of the incredible stuff we got. Its going to be tight quarters in our room for a while until we are able to move, but its all good!



I am officially 9 months pregnant. Crazy. So I took a picture this past week. I am starting to swell a bit and I am super uncomfortable. But who is not at 9 months pregnant? Work is getting harder and I have been awake this morning since 5:30. Last week I had my first check and there was no progression. Today I have my next appointment so I am hoping for some small improvement. We will see...

It All Adds Up

Man, babies are expensive! And it still seems like there is so much more to get! But here is our newest purchase...

A Really Good Friday!

So today is "Good Friday" and it sure has been for us!! Zac has been working for a Magazine that has been full of unfulfilled promises and has had to deal with a pretty crappy boss. Well, the Magazine took a turn for the worse and pretty much folded, but because of the economy finding a new job has been near impossible...until today! Zac was just offered a job working for Wells Fargo and boy are we happy! We have many reasons to count our blessings today!

What Sleep?

Every night I can count on waking up at least a few times, but I am usually able to get right back to sleep. Although, there are some nights where sleep does not exist for me. I know all of you with babies are laughing at me right now thinking "she has no idea what she is getting into" but while I have the chance I REALLY WANT TO SLEEP! What is it that wakes me up you ask? 1) I need to pee 2) I have pregnancy stuffy nose syndrome 3) My left hip is tingly and numb 24/7 4) Trying to find a dang comfortable position and 5) my favorite HEARTBURN! Now, some times when I lay back down I will literally lay there for hours trying to get back to sleep, but I am still wide awake at 5:00am. This morning was 6am. I layed there until 7 thinking about what prizes and food I was going to do for bunco this week. The things I need to get done before Gracie comes. Then it leads into thinking about giving birth to a baby. Then it leads into "holy crap I'm going to have a baby soon" then it leads into me trying to calm myself down by singing songs in my head. Then I think about getting up and taking a walk or going to the gym (that thought usually passes quickly) BUT, the only saving grace that gets me through that boring time before I finally just get out of bed is feeling my little girl doing summer salts in my tummy. Which leads me to say...Although i am not always comfortable I still love being pregnant. Now that its 8:20am I need to go get ready for work.
