Liz's Belly...kinda.

I thought that since i am in my 17th week and have not taken any pictures of my belly i should. There has not been much to take a picture of so far, and there still isn't much there. (Don't you love the one where i took on my mirror, i was struggling and thought it was funny.) I can defiantly tell on my own because my fat is for sure being pushed out and i can't suck in anymore. But i want something to compare to. When in the world am i going to get out of the "i just feel fat stage?" We are going to find out what we are having on June 10th. I am very excited. My last Dr's appointment was this past Tuesday and we heard baby's heart beat, it was 140 beats per min. I had also lost 5 pounds from my 12 week appt. Its funny that i weigh less now then i have in a long time and i am almost 4 1/2 months pregnant. Not to mention that i did have the flu last weekend which is why i think i weighed less. The Dr. said he wanted to see me start to gain weight now. He also said that i should feel baby move any day now. I think i may have, but i really don't know what i am trying to feel. It will be great to be able to feel it so i don't have to worry everyday if my baby is alive or not! Oh, the joys of being pregnant. The other picture i have here is my first purchase of anything baby i have bought. It is a baby journal, i loved it, i tried to get the most unisex one i could find.

The Host

I have had ample amounts of time to read this book between going to St George last week and being sick all weekend with the flu. Before we left for St George i thought what the heck, ill check this book out since i have read the Twilight series. Next thing i knew, i could not put the dang book down. This past weekend I thought i was just feeling sick at work and that my unborn child hated me that day making me feel so dang nauseated, boy i was wrong. I came home from work on Thursday evening and didn't stop throwing up until Friday morning. Followed by all the aches and pains of the flu i decided i was just sick. Which is why i had so much time to finish the 600 page book in a matter of just days. I loved the book and if any of you have read it i want to hear your thoughts about it. I thought it was written extremely well. It was major SiFi so if you like "real life" reading i don't recommend this book to you. It had a weird concept, and i was watching an interview with Stephanie Meyers on TV and agree with her that this book could not be made into a movie with an actress portraying both Melanie AND Wanderer (for those who have read it). Anyway, let me know what you thought?!

The Things i Love

I love my unborn child! Last Monday my cousin who is studying to be an ultrasound tech gave me one. This isnt the best picture because its a picture of the monitor. The printer was not working. We got to watch and enjoy our baby for almost an hour! It was such a fun family night. We actually went to try to find the gender, but it was too early to tell :(

I know great pic huh? I LOVE my husband. Even though he didnt consider me a mother on Mothers Day I forgave him after he took me out to dinner and got me a cute belated mother to be card. He is great! Through thick and thin I LOVE HIM MORE THAN ANYTHING!

This picture shows 2 things i love. Lily and the Cedar Hills Park. This past weekend Zac and I went there and relaxed. We used to spend all our time there before Zac went on his mission. So not only do we love the relaxing park, we love the memories there too.

Oh little Lily, I love my dog. She is my anxiety reliever AND my stress giver. If you have a dog you know what i mean.

I LOVE my nieces and nephews! I can't get enough of them. Our little one will be #6 grandchild on my side. I am so happy it will have so many cute cousins. I grew up with my cousins being some of my best friends. What i have grown to love about each and everyone of these kids is that all their personalities are so different from each other. I love to brag about them all!

This top picture is of Kameron (left) and Jaxon (right) they are the newest additions to our family. Emily had Jax in Dec. and Amy had Kam in Jan. Jaxon cant stop smiling and Kameron can't stop gaining weight.

This is Halie, Emily's girl, she is the oldest grandbaby. She is 5 years old and watch out little kindergarten boys, she is going to be a heart throb!

This is Kaleb (3), Amy's boy. He has the most beautiful eyes. He is one smart cookie, and talks with a little lisp. He cant quite say his S's

Oh what to say about this one...She may look sweet here, but dont let her fool you. This is MONSTER A.K.A. Raegan. When she is not crying or getting her way, she is probably sleeping, but i sure do love her!

I do love many more things, my pajama pants, the TV show Friends, Summertime etc.. but i cant post them all. Plus i really want to go to bed. I am having pregnancy headaches. So, i thought i would post these things because i am grateful for them all. Have a good night!

My Little Sister is Growing Up!

Last Saturday i helped Jenny get ready for prom. My mom was at work and trust me she needed help. Don't get me wrong I love my little sister, but she was the least prepared person i know. She was about to walk out the door with a huge ugly purse and a zip up hoodie. Her date called her and said he was coming a half our earlier than he originally said so we scrambled to get her all ready. I ran through my moms house and finally found a little pocket purse and told her if she gets cold to buck up and look pretty. I was not about to let her leave the house with that jacket. She wore my Jr year prom dress. My mom made it for me and had to do MAJOR alterations to make it fit her. If you don't know Jenny she is about 4'10 and weighs about 70 lbs. No folks she does not have an eating disorder, she was born that way. She also had to special order some high heel shoes. She looked beautiful! I loved that dress, it is so dainty! Im happy someone else got to use it. Later that night Me and my older sisters Amy and Emily went to the mall and ran into Jenny. They had just finished eating at PF Changs. I didn't know the boy she went with, I think his name was Cade. They are just friends. It wasn't even for Lone Peak High, it was American Fork's high school prom. Later that night after the dance she called my parents to pick her up from someone's house because they were watching an "R" rated movie. Way to make me proud good job Jenny!

Last American Idol post

So I have been bad at keeping everyone posted on the American Idol posts. Thats because I realized I hate them, so no more. Brook is gone, thank goodness. I say that because she drove Zac and I nuts, but mostly me. Her voice may have been unique, but she wore her nerves on her sleeve. Good bye Brook, I knew you were leaving soon.
